Read and company are registered insurance brokers based in central chester. Formed in 1975 it is the policy of the company to
provide the highest achievable standards of Broking and claims services, backed by qualified and professional staff.
We act as insurance Brokers to many business concerns and specialise in providing a very personal service to business and
commercial clients.
We are a member of Broker Network, a nationwide group of over 140
insurance brokers controlling over £300 million in premium income. Membership gives us considerable negotiating power with all
the major insurance companies and syndicates to enable us to obtain exclusive premiums and cover for our clients.
Read and company are independent and qualified specialists in all aspects of insurance. We are here to advise you concerning all
aspects of cover, secure the best premiums on your behalf and look after your claims.
There are two partners actively involved in identifying risk to which your company is exposed and providing insurance solutions:
Liz Arrowsmith has many years experience in commercial insurance and has been with Read and Co since formed in 1975. She
also holds a Haulage C.P.C National and International Qualification, giving her special insight into the needs of our haulage
clients.
Simon Read A.C.I.I is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute by examination. He has been practicing as an
insurance broker since joining Read and Co in 1983.
